Third Millennium Research, Inc. provides contractual consulting services to a wide variety of clients, including business clients, those involved with healthcare and clinical research, primary & secondary education, public administration, and nonprofit organizations.  For each, we provide services in the areas of statistics and data mining, demographic analysis, evaluation research, research design, and data management.

BusinessTo help your business gain competitive advantage, we can apply analytic techniques to your enterprise, market research, or management data, including quality control studies, data from customer service call-in centers, etc. We can provide assistance with the design and analysis of experimental studies (e.g., quality control studies, market or management research), employee and customer satisfaction surveys, etc.  We can also apply demographic analysis to help you identify markets for expansion, market area assessments, sales forecasting, target marketing, logistics, etc.

Healthcare. We can provide assistance with the design and analysis of clinical research, efficacy evaluations of secondary prevention interventions, randomized behavioral trials, mental health treatments, social marketing campaigns, and programs designed to reduce health risks or improve health-protective attitudes or behaviors.  Cost-efficiency assessments of health services are also available.  We can also apply biostatistical methods to analyze epidemiological data, and can assist with preparation subsequent reports.  Our application of demographic analysis and formal evaluations e.g., of marketing efforts are very beneficial for healthcare administrative purposes.

Education.  Whether your objective is to establish baselines or assess the effectiveness of programs or innovative initiatives designed to improve student, teacher, classroom, or school performance, we can provide your school or district with accurate and timely research and analytical support.  This includes evaluations of policy initiatives (e.g., to improve teacher-to-student ratios, competency/retention, disciplinary policies, parental involvement), comparisons of different instructional strategies, and cost-effectiveness studies.  We can apply a wide variety of statistical techniques that are particularly well-suited for the analysis of educational data, including techniques for small samples and multivariate techniques to properly adjust for multi-level data.  By applying demographic analysis, we can derive enrollment estimates and projections, which are essential for effective budgeting, resource acquisition, addressing logistical issues, and planning new educational facilities.

Public Admin.  In the areas of public health, criminal justice, or planning and management, we can conduct formal evaluations to assess program effectiveness and efficiencies. Using demographic techniques, we can derive population estimates and projections, which are essential for proper planning of budgets, human resources, land use, and resources allocation.   They are also very useful for making informed decisions regarding the location of future public facilities (e.g., schools, fire stations, parks), waste management facilities, as well as logistical issues (e.g., transportation and mass transit routes).

Nonprofit Organizations.   Whether your NPO is charitable, philanthropic, faith-based, professional, etc., our services will help generate and analyze data that will enable effective strategic marketing and planning.  With an understanding of your mission, goals, & objectives, and workforce & client profiles, we can provide objective assessments of program effectiveness (public service announcements, expand membership, improve volunteer support, reach fund-raising goals, etc.).   Initial results often serve as important baselines for future rounds of strategic marketing and impact assessments.  Our demographic analysis can inform planning (e.g., identify changing demographic profiles of beneficiaries, volunteers, donors), as well as help determine geographic boundaries for new local chapters or chapter reorganization.
